Dr. Chandan Jadhav is one of only a few surgeons in Australia to hold dual surgical Fellowships — Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) and Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon (India). He has been in practice since 2010, with broad expertise in Skin Cancer Surgery, Head & Neck and Breast Reconstructions, Hand Surgery, and Aesthetic Surgery of Face, Breast & Body.
He is a member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), Australian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS), International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ISAPS), and Faculty at the Canadian Board of Aesthetic Medicine (CBAM).
He is known for approaching each procedure with meticulous precision and a calm demeanour. His vast knowledge and surgical skills are matched only by his commitment to excellence and patient care.

After medical school, Dr. Chandan completed his Masters in Surgery and progressed towards obtaining his Plastic Surgery Fellowship from the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), India. He was subsequently awarded the fellowship (by examination) from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS).
Dr. Chandan was awarded the prestigious DAFPRS Fellowship in Aesthetic Surgery from Switzerland, where he learnt the nuances of Aesthetic Surgery from world-renowned masters. This international training underpins his refined approach to aesthetic outcomes.
Dr. Chandan has been working as a Senior Medical Officer in the Department of Plastic Surgery at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH) since 2020. He has been instrumental in pioneering Lymphedema Microsurgical services at SCUH — the first and only of its kind for Queensland.
He is also a Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) with operating rights at several Ramsay Health hospitals.
Beyond operating, Dr. Chandan takes pride in shaping the next generation of Plastic Surgeons. He is a Senior Lecturer at Griffith University and an Editorial Board Member of Burns & Trauma.
