Most patients are referred by their GP or specialist. You may also contact our consulting rooms directly to enquire about an appointment. Our team will guide you through the booking process and advise on what to bring to your first visit.
At your first appointment, Dr. Chandan will review your medical history and examine the area of concern. He will discuss your treatment options, explain the procedure in detail, and outline the risks, limitations, and expected recovery as part of a full informed consent process.
All surgical procedures carry inherent risks. These may include infection, bleeding, scarring, wound breakdown, anaesthetic complications, or procedure-specific complications. Dr. Chandan will thoroughly explain these so you can make a fully informed decision.
Once a procedure is confirmed, you will receive detailed pre-operative instructions including dietary requirements, medication adjustments, and what to arrange at home for your recovery. Dr. Chandan's team will coordinate with the hospital surgical scheduling team.
You will be admitted to the hospital and cared for by a dedicated surgical and anaesthetic team. Dr. Chandan will meet with you before the procedure and will personally perform your surgery. All procedures are conducted in fully accredited hospital environments.
Following surgery, you will be monitored closely and provided with clear instructions for wound care, medication, activity restrictions, and follow-up appointments. Dr. Chandan's team will remain in contact throughout your recovery to ensure healing is progressing as expected.
